Market Cap

The market capitalization – or market cap – is the total dollar value of all of the coins of a particular cryptocurrency. The term also refers to stocks and other markets.

Click for full definition multiplied by how many coins there are currently on the market, therefore giving you the total market value of ALL of the coins. Given that each market constantly has money going in and out and the price of coins fluctuates constantly, the market cap is constantly on the move.

The easiest way to see current market caps of crypto is using a site such as CoinMarketCap. Right at the top of the site, you will see the current market cap of the entire crypto market (all of the coins collectively).

On the coin list on that site, you can view the current market cap of any coin on the market.
